Requirements

A Bachelors’ degree and some experience in loan processes, credit, credit analysis, documentation or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
Basic knowledge of credit, credit analysis and experience working with various types of loans.
The ability to meet deadlines, audit documentation and solve problems.
The ability to make recommendations to officers.
Good communication, customer service and organizational skills.
Knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel and various types of credit analysis software.
Attention to detail with consistent self-management and follow-through.
Must want to be part of a motivated and driven team and work with respected leaders.
Must be proactive, have a great attitude, be confident and want to inspire others to achieve bank initiatives and drive loan growth.

Responsibilities

Analyzing, investigating, gathering and presenting financial data, tax information and credit documentation for determining a clients’ credit worthiness.
Reviewing and initiating loan documents for legal and structural considerations, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
Placing calls to clients to better underwrite credits.
Assisting with collection efforts and customer problem resolution.
Consulting with relationship managers and portfolio managers in preparing customer information for credit review and loan presentations.
Assisting in providing customer service on behalf of loan officers/relationship managers and team leaders.
Responsible for disbursement of funds.
Remaining flexible and taking on other due diligence and portfolio maintenance responsibilities to enable the success of the bank.
