About The Position

The Assistant Registrar supports the Associate Registrar in managing the day-to-day operations of the Office of the Registrar (OTR). This position also manages the Office of the Registrar’s Program Migration and Enrollment Reporting teams and works closely with department leadership for planning, implementation, and evaluation of ongoing activities to confirm accurate student migrations, enrollment reporting, program course crosswalks, ensuring consistency and standardization among the transcripts and records departments. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining clear and accurate operations documentation, and developing systems to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Office of the Registrar (OTR) as it pertains to program migrations and enrollment reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration/Information Systems/Higher Education or the equivalent combination of education and experience within a Registrar's Office.
  • 3 years of experience in a managerial position with progressive responsibility within an academic setting

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree, preferably in Business Administration/Information Systems/Higher Education or the equivalent combination of education and experience within a Registrar’s Office.
  • 5 years of experience in a managerial position with progressive responsibility within an academic setting
  • Experience using Ellucian Banner, Hyland OnBase Document Imaging, and Kofax.
  • Moderate to expert skill level with Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Identify process improvements and accuracy of student information, as it pertains to Program Migration and Enrollment Reporting
  • Analyze data and make recommendations for system improvement management
  • Provide tracking tools to measure and manage departmental objectives and key operating metrics
  • Provide guidance for employees to sustain, develop, enforce, and report operating standards; recommend actions for continual improvement
  • Promote and support impactful ideas so employees can develop and implement new processes and procedures designed to maximize efficiency
  • Conduct regular meetings to advance process improvement initiatives
  • Participating in meetings with other university stakeholders to execute new initiatives, programs, and projects
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
