About The Position

Provides fast, friendly, helpful and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers. Responsible for the back door operation at store level to include vendor, DSD deliveries as well as Warehouse deliveries. Must maintain a neat and clean back room area both inside and outside the retail unit. Stocks depleted shelves with promotional and regular items to promote an optimal opportunity for sales. Ensures that all LPD policies are adhered to with regard to Back Door receiving.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Basic literacy skills
  • Satisfactory performance reviews
  • Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Receiving all grocery and general merchandise product delivery through the Back Door operation of the retail unit (includes DSD/vendor and Warehouse deliveries).
  • Ensuring that all standards and procedures regarding billing/invoicing are adhered to and maintaining DEX equipment.
  • Maintaining a neat, clean and organized workstation, according to 5S standards, at all times.
  • Consistently working to provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service at all times.
  • Processing and scanning damages according to CGO markdown procedures.
  • Printing all CGO orders when they arrive at the store.
  • Providing Trade Partners with Dolphins to cycle counts when necessary.
  • Assisting Trade Partners and the Grocery Department Managers in achieving Trade Partner service levels.
  • Maintaining corporate and state sanitary and safety conditions in the Back Room, storage and outside areas.
  • Ensuring that all LPD policies are adhered to with regard to the Back Door operation.
  • Ensuring that all damages and reclaims are worked daily and weekly to corporate guidelines.
  • Stocking empty shelves and promotional displays when not overseeing the Back Door operation.
  • Controlling shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures.
  • Providing fast, friendly, helpful and efficient service to all Price Chopper internal and external customers.
  • Smiling, making eye contact, greeting, and thanking every customer upon fulfilling customer's request.
