This position is instrumental in fostering team development, providing comprehensive training, and ensuring the consistent execution of high standards across service, food safety, and coffee production. The Assistant Manager is responsible for actively managing shifts to guarantee smooth service delivery and an exceptional guest experience. This includes overseeing daily and weekly QSR operational tasks, managing staffing coverage, making real-time labor adjustments, and stepping in as manager-on-duty when necessary. A significant aspect of the role involves leading the onboarding and training of new QSR team members, with a specific focus on authentic Italian coffee service and Bassett coffee production techniques. The Assistant QSR Manager is also tasked with ensuring all team members are thoroughly trained on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), food safety standards (Serve Safe), and service protocols. Continuous coaching and feedback are provided to elevate overall team performance and operational efficiency. Furthermore, the role encompasses assisting with inventory management, including counts, ordering, and product organization, with a particular emphasis on coffee and specialty beverage production. Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and compliance throughout all QSR areas is also a key responsibility.
