About The Position

Ensure product quality by coordinating and performing production employee training incorporating standard operating procedures and instructions. Work hours are 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Monday - Friday.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Train-the-Trainer Training
  • Attention to detail
  • Microsoft Office (Work, Excel, Outlook) & ERP experience
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lb. on occasion
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours per day
  • Manual dexterity to operate equipment and machines.

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality inspections and audit production processes as needed.
  • Monitor and maintain 3-S standards throughout the operation
  • Schedule & coordinate employee training and track progress
  • Assess and monitor operator performance through regular skill evaluations, practical tests, and observation to ensure adherence to operational standards and identify training needs
  • Maintain skills capability matrix for temporary and full-time employees.
  • Management of training requirements and records.
  • Create Standard Operating Procedures and Standard Work Instructions.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new processes and standard work.
  • Identify opportunities for process and training improvements.
  • Recruit and train new trainers, delegate tasks and evaluate the performance of new trainers.
  • Assist the Production and Distribution Supervisors in overseeing daily work, assigning work tasks, and providing direction to employees.
  • Address quality concerns directly with the responsible employee(s).
  • Report any performance or conduct concerns to the Production Supervisor, Distribution Supervisor, or Production Manager for resolution.
  • Back-up Production or Distribution Supervisor.
  • Operate Pallet Jack
  • Update QT-9 System
  • Accomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested.
  • Support MISCO’s mission
  • Uphold and enforce established standards and work instructions within the team.
  • Monitor staff performance to ensure adherence to guidelines and quality benchmarks.
  • Address issues directly through effective communication and coaching when standards are not met.
  • Possess the discernment to escalate unresolved matters to the supervisor, providing comprehensive insights for efficient resolution.
  • Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Issue MISCO Stars to award and recognize employee achievements.
