The Assistant Prosecuting Attorney assigned to Training/Professional Responsibility and Discovery plays a vital role in supporting the Prosecutor’s Office. This position is responsible for planning, creating, organizing, and conducting at least 12 hours of in-house CLE annually. Additionally, this position is responsible for providing advice to the Office, and the Office’s clients, on the rules of professional responsibility and ethics. And finally, this position supports the Office’s legal and ethical discovery obligations through the management, organization, and disclosure of criminal case materials. Under the supervision of the Administration and the Chiefs of the Grand Jury and Criminal Divisions, this position coordinates with law enforcement agencies, Assistant Prosecuting Attorneys, and defense counsel to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant processing of discovery materials.
