About The Position

Weinstein Properties, a family-owned company with over 70 years of experience, is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for their Addison at Swift Creek community in Midlothian, VA. The company owns and manages over 60 apartment communities across five states and is known for its hands-on approach and focus on customer experience. This role involves front-line resident services, team interaction, fast-paced learning, and effective communication in challenging situations. While previous property management experience is not required, strong management experience in customer service, sales, or hospitality is valued. Responsibilities

  • Work with prospects interested in learning about the communities, including responding to internet leads, phone calls, scheduling appointments, and conducting tours.
  • Process leasing applications, prepare lease paperwork, collect security deposits, and ensure leaseholders sign the lease.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, assisting with needs such as lease renewals, notices to vacate, early terminations, adding pets, apartment transfers, and account inquiries.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team, inspect ready apartments, monitor property needs, and follow up with residents on work orders or maintenance requests.
  • Ensure a positive resident move-in experience.
  • Manage resident move-outs, process move-out procedures, and handle security deposit dispositions.
  • Post rent payments and follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Plan, prepare, and host resident activities.
  • Lead the team, assist with training, and help achieve goals.
  • Assist the Property Manager as needed.
