About The Position

Cottonwood Residential is hiring an Assistant Property Manager to join their team at Cason Estates Apartments in Murfreesboro, TN. This role involves providing in-person assistance and service to residents regarding rent, fees, and other charges. The Assistant Property Manager will also coordinate leasing and resident activities, manage vendors, and maintain up-to-date resident files, manage delinquencies, and prepare/deliver legal documents. This position may occasionally assume responsibility for the community in the Property Manager's absence. Requirements

• Leasing, sales, and/or customer service experience desired.
• Exceptional multi-tasking and communication skills, both oral and written.
• Good understanding of basic accounting practices.
• Weekend availability is required.

Nice To Haves

• Entrata Core experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing in-person assistance and service to residents with regards to the payment of rent, fees, and other charges.
• Coordinating leasing and resident activities.
• Managing vendors.
• Responsible for maintaining up-to-date resident files, managing delinquencies, and preparing and delivering legal and formal documents.
• May occasionally assume responsibility for the community when the Property Manager is unavailable or absent.
