About The Position

Cottonwood Residential is looking for an Assistant Property Manager to join their team at Antero Apartments in Colorado Springs, CO. This role involves providing in-person assistance and service to residents regarding rent, fees, and other charges. The Assistant Property Manager will coordinate leasing and resident activities, manage vendors, and maintain up-to-date resident files. Responsibilities include managing delinquencies and preparing/delivering legal documents. The position may also involve assuming responsibility for the community in the Property Manager's absence. Cottonwood Residential is noted for its innovation in offering Self-Guided Tours to enhance the customer experience.

Requirements

• Leasing, sales, and/or customer service experience desired.
• Exceptional multi-tasking and communication skills, both oral and written.
• Good understanding of basic accounting practices.
• Weekend availability is required.

Nice To Haves

• Entrata Core experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing in-person assistance and service to residents with regards to the payment of rent, fees, and other charges.
• Coordinating leasing and resident activities.
• Managing vendors.
• Maintaining up-to-date resident files.
• Managing delinquencies.
• Preparing and delivering legal and formal documents.
• Occasionally assuming responsibility for the community when the Property Manager is unavailable or absent.
