About The Position

Apartment Management Professionals, LLC (AMP Residential) is seeking to hire an on site Assistant Property Manager to join our team at Aspen Lakes Apartments & Wyndham Hill Apartments! These apartment communities have 250 units and 192 units, and are located in Grand Rapids, MI. Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in the Multi-Family Industry required, preferably as a Leasing Manager, Assistant Manager or Property Manager
  • A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication both written and verbally along will organization and leadership traits
  • Must be able to focus on resident retention, renewals, resident events/open houses
  • Strong attention to detail and sales ability
  • Strong customer service skills and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • High energy and positive attitude
  • High-school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Ability to pass background screening and drug test
  • Valid Driver's License with auto insurance required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Entrata or related programs a plus

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining occupancy goals for the property
  • Supervision and development of the leasing staff
  • Ability to maintain property appearance
  • Administer tours and answer questions for perspective residents
  • Attention to resident concerns and overall resident satisfaction for the property
  • Implementing and enforcing community policies
  • Using marketing strategies to secure prospective residents
  • Marketing outreach within nearby community
  • Assist management with posting of rent
  • Saturdays are required on a rotating schedule, this would be a schedule adjustment during the week
