We review all applications. Stonehill Apartments in Plymouth is seeking a professional Assistant Property Manager to join their team. As the Assistant Property Manager, you perform and manage various office duties as well as provided quality services to residents. and families of the residents. The Assistant Property Manager supports the Property Manager in the daily operations of a multi family residential property. This role assists with resident relations, leasing, administrative functions, and financial activities while helping maintain property standards, compliance, and customer service excellence. The ideal candidate is organized, customer focused, and capable of balancing administrative and operational responsibilities in a fast paced property environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; some college preferred
  • 1–3 years of property management, leasing, or administrative experience
  • Working knowledge of leasing, customer service, and basic property operations
  • Basic understanding of rent collection, reports, and property software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and property management systems
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and support multiple operational functions

Responsibilities

  • Respond to resident questions, concerns, and service requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Record and coordinate maintenance requests with appropriate staff
  • Assist with resident events, newsletters, and community communications
  • Prepare units for move in, coordinating cleaning, maintenance, and inspections
  • Schedule and conduct move in orientations and prepare move in documentation
  • Coordinate keys, storage, parking, and access items
  • Process move out notices and schedule inspections
  • Ensure completion and distribution of vacate documentation
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of unit availability, pricing, and amenities
  • Assist with apartment showings, lease renewals, and leasing activities as needed
  • Prepare marketing materials and communications for prospective residents
  • Run background, credit, and reference checks in accordance with policy
  • Enter daily activity into property management systems, including move ins, move outs, payments, adjustments, and billings
  • Collect rent and assist with delinquency follow up and notices
  • Prepare reports such as delinquency, occupancy, and operational reports
  • Order supplies and prepare purchase orders and coded invoices
  • Maintain resident lists, parking records, storage logs, and contact information
  • Answer phones and provide general office support
  • Assist with inspections of buildings, common areas, and grounds
  • Support maintenance and housekeeping efforts as needed
  • Attend staff meetings and training as required
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident, financial, and company information
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
