As an Assistant Property Manager at JLL, you will play a vital supporting role in the daily operations of an office portfolio in Charlotte, NC. You'll serve as an administrative leader, overseeing property operations in the absence of the Property Manager and gaining hands-on experience in tenant relations, vendor coordination, and financial reporting. Requirements

  • 2-4 years of supervisory experience in corporate services, facilities operations, or customer service management
  • Basic understanding of facilities operations and vendor coordination
  • 2-3 years of experience in budgeting, invoicing, and financial reporting
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining quality and accuracy
  • Problem-solving mindset with ability to handle challenging situations diplomatically and effectively
  • Onsite presence required in Charlotte, NC
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in property or facility management
  • Familiarity with commercial real estate operations and best practices
  • Experience with property management software and Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Assist with tenant communications and service requests, ensuring prompt response times and effective resolution of issues
  • Support financial management activities including invoice processing, budget tracking, and preparation of monthly operating reports
  • Coordinate maintenance work orders with the engineering team and vendors to maintain high property standards
  • Conduct regular property walks and inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Assist with lease administration tasks including tenant move-in support and coordination
  • Supervise and manage the onsite engineering team, fostering a collaborative environment where everyone is empowered to thrive
  • Conduct performance management including goal setting, regular feedback, and annual reviews
  • Lead recruitment and onboarding processes for new team members
  • Complete additional tasks as required to comply with local ordinances and ensure seamless property operations
