About The Position

As a key member reporting to the Property Manager, this role requires attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions. The APM is responsible for keeping the community clean and well-maintained, handling both maintenance tasks and client concerns to create an inviting atmosphere. 29 Acres is a nonprofit organization that enhances the lives of adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). 29 Acres focuses on using research-based practices and programming to make meaningful and measured progress. At 29 Acres, we prioritize individualized programming, setting specific goals and outcomes tailored to the unique needs of our clients. 29 Acre’s living community is located in Crossroads Texas approximately 30 miles north of Dallas. Located near the shores of Lake Lewisville, 29 Acres is a quiet community yet is only minutes away from the University of North Texas and all the major services and activities of the Dallas metroplex. It is easily accessible from several highways serving the North Texas area.

Requirements

  • Minimum of High School GED
  • CPR/First aid (training provided)
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
  • Must hold a valid Texas driver’s license and possess an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to stand 8 hours or longer per day and lift up to 100 lbs. as necessary

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety of all participants by maintaining safety standards on the NCH property
  • Complete maintenance list assigned by Property Manager
  • Complete regular cleaning on checklist and assigned by Property Manager
  • Address residents' concerns and needs in a timely manner
  • Assists Property Manager is scheduled events on the property
  • Assists manager in performing regular NCH property inspections
  • Provide scheduled transportation to residents using company vehicles
  • Serve as an advocate for residents
  • Collaborate with other professionals while maintaining a “can do” attitude
  • Perform other assignments as delegated by the leadership
