About The Position

Atlantic Pacific Companies is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Assistant Property Manager for their Affordable Community, Langwick Senior Residences, which has 128 units in Houston, TX. This is a full-time position. The Assistant Property Manager will assist the Property Manager in the overall operation of the property and the day-to-day implementation of policies, procedures, and programs to ensure a well-managed and well-maintained building. The role requires assuming greater responsibilities and knowledge of all aspects of property management, demonstrating maturity and good judgment. Experience in LIHTC and Affordable Housing operations with proven success in turnaround or renovated properties is essential.

Requirements

• One year of LIHTC/Affordable housing experience required.
• Proficient in internet software; systems software Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook).
• Onsite or Yardi (CRM, Voyager, P2P) required.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree preferred but not required.
• Industry Software Bluemoon, Yieldstart preferred

Responsibilities

• Answer telephones and provide leasing information, schedule appointments for tours, take maintenance requests, assist residents with needs, etc.
• Works closely with the Property Manager in learning all aspects of management, including administrative and financial duties.
• Assist in the handling of resident service request and various concerns as required.
• Manage the collection of rent and submit notices as required.
• Physically walk and inspect property on a daily basis, checks on vacant apartments.
• Assists with creating monthly reports including but not limited to renewals, rents, leasing, traffic and resident retention programs HUD/LIHTC compliance paperwork accurately and timely.
• Several administrative duties.
