About The Position

Weinstein Properties, a family-owned company with over 70 years of experience, is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for their apartment communities in the Nashville area. The company owns and manages over 60 apartment communities across several states and emphasizes a hands-on approach to operations and customer experience. This role involves front-line resident services, team interaction and coaching, rapid learning, and effective communication in challenging situations. Attention to detail is crucial. While previous property management experience is a plus, strong management experience in customer service, sales, or hospitality is also valued. Some leadership experience is required, and the company provides comprehensive training and professional development opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Work with prospects interested in learning more about the communities.
  • Answer internet leads and phone calls, schedule appointments, and conduct community tours.
  • Process leasing applications, prepare lease paperwork, and ensure leaseholders sign the lease.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, assisting with needs such as lease renewals, notices to vacate, early terminations, adding pets, apartment transfers, and account inquiries.
  • Collaborate with maintenance to inspect ready apartments, monitor property needs, and follow up with residents on work orders.
  • Ensure a positive resident move-in experience.
  • Manage resident move-outs, including processing move-outs and security deposit dispositions.
  • Post rent payments and follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Plan, prepare, and host resident activities.
  • Lead the team, assist with training, and help achieve goals.
  • Assist the Property Manager as needed.
