The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for maintaining communities to a market-ready standard, ensuring a high level of service, and building and motivating high-performing teams to maximize property performance. This role involves assisting the Property Manager with overall operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits. They are also responsible for providing superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects to enhance customer satisfaction and increase renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability. The role requires ensuring the smooth running of the community in a fast-paced environment and maintaining effective on-site staff through interviewing, hiring, and coaching.
