About The Position

Community Housing Partners (CHP) is seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to join their team at Primrose Place Apartments in Baltimore, MD. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of property management experience.
• Experience with affordable housing programs including HUD, LIHTC (Tax Credit), Rural Development (RD), or Section 8.
• Strong leasing, customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software.
• Ability to lead a team and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Market and lease apartments to maintain high occupancy.
• Coordinate apartment turns with a goal of five days or less.
• Collect, post, and deposit rent payments accurately.
• Complete resident certifications and maintain affordable housing compliance.
• Conduct file audits and property inspections.
• Partner with maintenance to ensure timely work order completion.
• Serve as acting Property Manager when needed.
• Build positive relationships with residents while resolving concerns professionally.
• Help create a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained community.
