Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Building Science, or related field
  • 2+ years relevant experience in Commercial or Industrial Construction
  • Strong foundational knowledge of construction processes, industry standards, and safety regulations
  • Experience with construction software including Procore, Microsoft Project, and Primavera P6
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong organizational abilities with exceptional attention to detail and systematic approach

Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Managers with buyout processes, including scope evaluation and contract development
  • Write and issue subcontractor purchase orders with attention to detail and contract compliance
  • Coordinate pre-construction and OAC meetings, preparing agendas and comprehensive meeting minutes
  • Organize all project information, correspondence, changes, and updates in systematic filing systems
  • Maintain two-week look-ahead schedules based on Superintendent input and project requirements
  • Ensure projects are properly set up in Procore with current drawings, specifications, schedules, and permits
  • Create and maintain schedules using Microsoft Project or related scheduling software
  • Review submittals for compliance and process them efficiently in Procore
  • Draft RFIs (Request for Information) and follow up proactively to prevent project delays
  • Prepare Potential Change Orders (PCOs) and Change Orders (COs) for Architects/Owners and subcontractors
  • Coordinate with Field Operations to ensure projects have necessary resources and support
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance across all project sites
  • Make frequent site visits to evaluate progress and identify potential issues
  • Address stakeholder concerns, inquiries, and issues promptly and professionally
  • Support quality control efforts in coordination with Project Managers and Superintendents
  • Champion safety culture and participate in ongoing safety training initiatives
  • Continuously develop industry knowledge through conferences, seminars, and professional development
