Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Building Science, or related field
2+ years relevant experience in Commercial or Industrial Construction
Strong foundational knowledge of construction processes, industry standards, and safety regulations
Experience with construction software including Procore, Microsoft Project, and Primavera P6
Excellent communication skills with ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders
Strong organizational abilities with exceptional attention to detail and systematic approach

Effective team player with demonstrated ability to delegate tasks and resolve conflicts

Responsibilities

Assist Project Managers with buyout processes, including scope evaluation and contract development
Write and issue subcontractor purchase orders with attention to detail and contract compliance
Coordinate pre-construction and OAC meetings, preparing agendas and comprehensive meeting minutes
Organize all project information, correspondence, changes, and updates in systematic filing systems
Maintain two-week look-ahead schedules based on Superintendent input and project requirements
Ensure projects are properly set up in Procore with current drawings, specifications, schedules, and permits
Create and maintain schedules using Microsoft Project or related scheduling software
Review submittals for compliance and process them efficiently in Procore
Draft RFIs (Request for Information) and follow up proactively to prevent project delays
Prepare Potential Change Orders (PCOs) and Change Orders (COs) for Architects/Owners and subcontractors
Coordinate with Field Operations to ensure projects have necessary resources and support
Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance across all project sites
Make frequent site visits to evaluate progress and identify potential issues
Address stakeholder concerns, inquiries, and issues promptly and professionally
Support quality control efforts in coordination with Project Managers and Superintendents
Champion safety culture and participate in ongoing safety training initiatives
Continuously develop industry knowledge through conferences, seminars, and professional development
