About The Position

The Assistant Project Manager supports the planning and delivery of site-development and civil construction projects valued from $2 million to $25 million. Working with project managers, field teams, clients, and trade partners, this role helps coordinate schedules, resources, costs, contracts, quality, and safety from clearing through pavement markings.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering, construction management, construction, or a related field
Ability to collaborate effectively on site-grading projects valued from $2 million to $25 million
Understanding of site-development phases from clearing through pavement markings
Strong organization, communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills
Ability to travel reliably throughout the region

Nice To Haves

Experience with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, Trimble Construction One, Vista, or similar construction-management and accounting software

Responsibilities

Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination across all phases of site-development work
Track project costs, budgets, production, and other project controls
Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and other resources
Support project accounting, contract administration, documentation, and reporting
Review plans and specifications and help maintain quality-control standards
Communicate with project managers, field teams, clients, and trade partners to keep work progressing on schedule
Help identify and resolve field, schedule, cost, and compliance issues
Promote and maintain company safety requirements on every project
