About The Position

FCC Construcción, through its subsidiary FCC Canada, has been present in Canada for more than 25 years. In 1998, it was awarded the contract for the construction, operation, and maintenance of the Fredericton-Moncton motorway. In 2011, it was awarded the contract to the extension of a section of the Toronto subway expansion, the city's first modern subway infrastructure project. This project was completed in 2019. In Canada, FCC is proud to be actively involved in multiple projects across Ontario and British Columbia aimed at improving public transportation and infrastructure. The GO Expansion program represents the largest transformation of regional rail in Canadian history, delivering two-way, all-day service through more frequent trains, faster travel times, and a fully modernized rail network across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. As part of this initiative, ONxpress Transportation Partners is delivering the On-Corridor Works package, which includes track construction, civil works, signalling and electrification across the GO-owned network, as well as operations planning, timetable optimization, and train control systems. The scope also encompasses the maintenance and rehabilitation of railway assets, procurement and servicing of rolling stock, development of new maintenance, storage and layover facilities, and the reconstruction of Union Station's tracks and platforms, which serve as the hub of the regional rail network.
