About The Position

The Assistant Project Manager works directly with CFIC team members to ensure the success of projects that meet the needs of our government partners. The Assistant Project Manager will assist with the development of clear and attainable program objectives and reports to the Deputy Director. This is an in person position located at CFIC in Augusta, GA.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree required
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Ability to successfully obtain and maintain a security clearance or successfully obtain and maintain ITAR license
  • Must not have any conflicts of interest affecting DWX or its partners
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and great work ethic
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and drive results through collaboration

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s preferred
  • 3 years’ experience in a project management, marketing, business and/or event planning related role preferred

Responsibilities

  • Participate actively with the team to identify and respond to project needs
  • Collaborate with team members to plan and implement tech challenges and other project forms
  • Utilize creative tools and resources to create content for social media posts and/or website updates
  • Develop and maintain weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting by tracking all projects and CFIC-related events and achievements
  • Utilize website platform to update and post upcoming and related project information to the website, to include general updates
  • Lead team for CFIC events, planning, and preparation
  • Utilize market research tools to aid in the identification of and connection with individual innovators, businesses, and universities
  • Capacity to become familiar with and support specific project related, process improvement, and problem-solving tools
  • Support and attend virtual and in-person events to represent (conference, events, speeches)
