About The Position

Tori Contracting is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join their team. The APM will assist project managers and oversee smaller projects, focusing on managing commercial drywalling, metal stud framing, and acoustics. The role ensures construction crews complete projects on time and within budget. This position is based in Las Vegas, NV.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of framing/drywall experience in new construction, renovation, and interior buildouts.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience with Procore construction management software and project scheduling software.
  • Integrity and discretion in handling confidential project information and in dealing with project colleagues and other professionals inside and outside the company.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, or a related Engineering field strongly preferred and may be accepted in lieu of experience.
  • Operational and/or experience in the luxury construction industry preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Track and submit logs, project drawings, and specifications.
  • Create and submit RFIs, change orders, and other appropriate project documentation.
  • Perform field inspections, record inspections, and inform the Project Superintendent of items of concern.
  • Create and maintain change order logs, communicate with affected trades, log change events, and prepare/issue change orders.
  • Review internal invoices with the project team, request and review schedules, and ensure payment is received.
  • Provide administrative support for project managers, ensuring efficient use of their time.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.
