About The Position

Primoris Renewable Energy is building a Talent Community for upcoming opportunities for Assistant Project Managers (APM) to support the delivery of utility-scale solar projects across the country. This role is for early-career project professionals with a passion for renewable energy and hands-on experience supporting EPC construction projects. While there isn't an active opening right now, joining the Talent Community ensures early consideration for future APM openings.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in construction or project coordination, preferably in renewable energy or EPC environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, field-based environment
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to Primavera P6 or MS Project

Responsibilities

  • Supporting Project Managers with the planning and execution of utility-scale solar projects
  • Assisting with project schedules, budgets, reporting, and document control
  • Coordinating engineering, construction, procurement, and subcontractor activities
  • Tracking project progress, costs, and change management items
  • Supporting safety, quality, and compliance initiatives on site
  • Communicating with internal teams, vendors, and clients as needed
