About The Position

Titan Electric is powering the future by helping build the data centers and critical systems people rely on every day! As an Assistant Project Manager on our Mission Critical team, you will help keep data center and critical facility projects organized, moving, and ready for the next milestone. You will work beside Project Managers, Superintendents, field leaders, vendors, and owners to track documents, coordinate details, solve small problems before they become big ones, and support the day-to-day rhythm of complex electrical construction work. This is not a paper-pushing role. It is a front-row seat to how high-pressure, schedule-driven electrical projects get built safely and correctly. If you like details, deadlines, people, field coordination, and learning how major projects come together, this role gives you the room to grow into a Project Manager. You will support mission critical electrical construction projects, including data centers and other facilities where uptime, quality, safety, and schedule discipline matter. Your work will help the project team stay aligned on drawings, submittments, RFIs, change orders, procurement, manpower needs, owner updates, and closeout requirements.

Requirements

  • Supported construction projects and understand how drawings, schedules, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and field coordination connect.
  • Organize a large amount of project information without losing the small details that protect the schedule.
  • Comfortable communicating with Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, vendors, subcontractors, and customers in a clear and professional way.
  • Follow up without waiting to be reminded, especially when missing information could slow down the field.
  • Use project management tools, spreadsheets, email, and document control systems to keep work moving.
  • Willing to learn from the field, ask smart questions, and build the judgment needed to manage larger project responsibilities over time.
  • Working knowledge of project documentation such as RFIs, submittals, schedules, meeting minutes, procurement logs, change orders, and closeout packages.
  • Ability to read construction drawings and understand basic project sequencing.
  • Strong follow-up habits, clear written communication, and the ability to manage multiple open items at once.
  • Comfort working in both office and active construction site environments.
  • Ability to travel to project sites as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Electrical construction experience, especially with power distribution, low voltage systems, controls, commissioning support, or data center environments.
  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Accubid, or similar construction tools.
  • Internship, co-op, field, estimating, project engineering, or assistant project management experience with an electrical contractor.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.

Responsibilities

  • Track RFIs, submittals, drawing updates, and meeting notes so the team is working from the right information.
  • Follow up with vendors or internal teams on material status, delivery dates, and missing documentation.
  • Help prepare project reports that show schedule risks, open items, change order status, and upcoming deadlines.
  • Walk the site with project leadership to better understand what is being built, what is changing, and what support the field needs next.
  • Help organize closeout documents, punch list items, O&M manuals, warranties, and owner turnover packages.
