About The Position

Superior is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to help drive our electrical construction projects forward. The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for helping make operations on-site more efficient and will play a key role in our contracting, scheduling, estimating, bidding, and contract administration functions. This role is based on a jobsite in Columbus, Ohio.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of construction or project operations experience on a commercial construction jobsite (including relevant internship experience)
• A degree in Construction Systems Management, Engineering, or a related field; or a Construction Management certificate

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience supporting commercial construction projects
• Active OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification

Responsibilities

• Manage Request for Information (RFI) creation, submission, and integration into project documentation
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers throughout the project submittal process
• Support the creation, submission, and management of change orders
• Track project progress by maintaining contract documents and capturing jobsite photos
• Monitor the project schedule and provide ongoing updates to Project Operations and Field Operations leaders
• Work closely with the Foreman on the delivery of materials and equipment to the jobsite
• Lead project close-out, including documentation, warranties, waivers, as-builts, and turnover materials (attic stock)
• Begin developing an understanding of project financials by working closely with Project Operations and Finance leaders
