About The Position

Skanska is seeking a dynamic Assistant Project Manager to join their Project Management Team. This role is responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure timely and cost-effective completion, including budgeting, organization, implementation, and scheduling. The Assistant Project Manager will also ensure projects are constructed safely, ethically, and in compliance with all applicable laws. Responsibilities may vary based on project size and complexity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction or Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years prior relevant experience.
  • Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and overseeing projects to ensure a timely and cost-effective outcome.
  • Budgeting, organization, implementation, and scheduling of the project.
  • Ensuring the project is constructed in a safe, ethical manner and in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.
