About The Position

Erwin Electric, an established electrical company with a strong reputation since 1997, is seeking an Electrical Assistant Project Manager for the Tampa Bay Area. The company is W/MBE and DBE-certified and has experience in commercial, industrial, residential, and government work.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience in the electrical field.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and project management principles.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to occasionally travel to project sites.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in electrical work.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager in developing project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Monitor project progress and address issues as they arise.
  • Help in coordinating with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure that project resources are allocated efficiently.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Ensure that electrical installations and projects comply with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
  • Act as a point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries and providing updates on project status.
  • Track project expenses and assist in managing budgets to ensure projects are completed within financial constraints.
  • Identify potential risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
  • Work closely with project teams to foster a collaborative environment and resolve any issues that may impact project outcomes.
