Requirements

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field preferred.
  • Familiarity with electrical and mechanical engineering principles.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software (MS Project, Primavera P6, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Self-starter with a willingness to learn and grow within project management.

Nice To Haves

  • Electrical industry experience and Primavera P6 experience preferred.
  • Prior experience in traction power projects
  • Familiarity with specialized equipment
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, professional development, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Managers in coordinating all phases of complex, long-term projects to ensure alignment with contract requirements, schedules, and customer expectations.
  • Support engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and operations teams in the execution of electrical and mechanical project requirements.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of project schedules, budgets, resource planning, and milestone tracking.
  • Monitor project progress and help identify potential risks, delays, or issues while supporting corrective action efforts.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal departments to support successful project execution.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, quality requirements, and company procedures.
  • Support the management and updating of project schedules to accommodate established milestones and completion dates.
  • Assist in assembling project design submittmits and reviewing documentation against technical specifications and contract requirements.
  • Coordinate with engineering, operations, procurement, manufacturing, finance, and quality teams to ensure project deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
  • Assist with project documentation including scope letters, procedures, O&M manuals, warranty documentation, and closeout packages.
  • Support project meetings, maintain meeting notes, track action items, and follow up on outstanding tasks.
  • Assist Project Managers with customer reporting, project status updates, and overall project administration.
  • Other duties as assigned.
