Requirements

  • 3-5 years’ experience preferred in the construction industry as a project engineer, assistance project manager, or equivalent
  • Must be US Citizen
  • Must be familiar with industry standards and practices
  • The candidate should possess basic Word, Outlook, Excel, Windows, and Microsoft Outlook skills
  • Experience with ProCore project management software
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to work directly with our clients and subcontractors and present themselves professionally
  • As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening (post accepted offer) and have acceptable background check results.
  • If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in engineering, construction, or a related field is preferred.
  • US Air Force, USACE, NAVFAC, or other federal construction experience is preferred.
  • RMS and/or eCMS experience preferred
  • Primavera P6 experience desirable
  • General Knowledge of ICD-705 Technical Specifications for Construction and Management of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities is desirable

Responsibilities

  • Assist with project budgets, change orders, scheduling and submittal processing
  • Assist the Project Manager in all phases and aspects of the project including meeting minutes, daily reports, and other general project documentation assistance
  • Develop thorough understanding of the project [drawings + specifications]
  • Review owner contract and become familiar with terms and conditions
  • Provide support to the field staff
  • Assist with development and maintenance of project schedule
  • Identifying and assisting in resolution of scope conflicts as necessary
  • Preparation of materials for client, internal, and subcontractor meetings
  • Developing project plans and documentation including work plans, safety plans, quality control plans, construction submittmits, schedules, base access, etc.
  • Assistance with subcontractor outreach and bid preparation
