About The Position

Tori Contracting is looking for an Assistant Project Manager (APM) to join their team. The APM will assist project managers and oversee their own smaller projects. This role involves managing jobs that include commercial drywalling, metal stud framing, and acoustics, ensuring construction crews complete their assigned projects on time and within budget. This position is based in Las Vegas, NV.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of framing/drywall experience in new construction, renovation, and interior buildouts.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience with Procore construction management software and project scheduling software.
• Integrity and discretion in handling confidential project information and in dealing with project colleagues and other professionals inside and outside the company.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, or a related Engineering field strongly preferred and may be accepted in lieu of experience.
• Operational and/or experience in the luxury construction industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Track and submit logs/project drawings/specifications.
• Create and submit RFIs, change orders, and other appropriate project documentation as needed.
• Perform field inspections, record inspections, and inform Project Superintendent of items of concern.
• Create and maintain change order logs, communicate with affected trades, log change events, prepare and issue change orders.
• Review internal invoices with project team, request and review schedule(s), and ensure payment is received.
• Provide admin support for project managers, ensuring the most effective use of both the PE/PM's time.
• Other job duties as assigned.
