About The Position

The Assistant Project Manager will assist in the scheduling, planning, forecasting, resourcing, and management of all logistical and technical activities to ensure project accuracy and quality from conception to completion. This role involves close collaboration with project management and jobsite supervisory personnel to ensure projects remain on schedule. The position requires effective communication, data analysis, and the ability to work under time and budgetary constraints.

Requirements

  • Related experience in the construction industry.
  • Business writing ability.
  • Knowledge of data analysis procedures and good math skills.
  • Ability to read plans/specs.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Must have desire and aptitude for learning new things.
  • Must be able to work under time and budgetary constraints.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably with Construction Management concentration.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the project manager in organizing, planning, and implementing strategy.
  • Coordinate operations and ensure schedules and objectives are met.
  • Supervise and motivate jobsite supervisory staff.
  • Monitor operating costs, budgets, and resources.
  • Communicate with clients and evaluate their needs and specifications.
  • Create reports, analyze and interpret data.
  • Track and order materials and equipment.
