Assistant Project Manager / Project Manager (commercial construction)
About The Position

The company delivers a diverse mix of ground-up industrial, distribution, healthcare, office, multifamily, retail, hospitality, and community projects throughout Texas. With a healthy pipeline of projects ranging from $10M to $100M+, they're looking for construction professionals who want to build long-term careers with a builder that continues to expand its footprint across Dallas-Fort Worth and Austin. This role is perfect for a strong APM ready to take the next step, working directly with experienced Project Managers and Superintendents, gaining ownership of project responsibilities while developing into a full PM role.
Requirements
- 2-10+ years of commercial construction experience
- Ground-up commercial or industrial experience preferred
- Desire to grow into a Project Manager role
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms preferred
Responsibilities
- Support project execution from preconstruction through closeout
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
- Track budgets, schedules, procurement, and subcontractors
- Assist with owner, architect, and subcontractor coordination
- Learn project financial management and forecasting
