Fluor is seeking candidates for opportunities within its Program Delivery Support (PDS) team, working alongside the California High-Speed Rail Authority, to provide program delivery and program management services for one of the largest planned infrastructure projects in the U.S. The system will connect the 500-mile stretch between the Los Angeles region with the San Francisco Bay Area, with up to 24 stations. The first phase of the program is currently under construction in California’s Central Valley. This is a remote opportunity with 10% travel. The APM works under the general direction of the Supervising Transportation Engineer (Sup TE), the Assistant PM Engineering will serve in a technical support role to the Planning and Engineering - Strategic Delivery Office Locally Generated Alternative (LGA) Team and will be responsible for providing support in overseeing the technical designs for preliminary and advanced engineering documents/deliverables, as well as supporting the management and tracking specific tasks and deliverables within the design contract, ensuring that assigned contracts and agreements are administered and managed in accordance with the applicable policies and procedures of the California High-Speed Rail Authority (Authority), the State Contracting Manual (SCM) and the California Government Code (GC), as well as management of assigned contracts in accordance with federal and State of California laws and regulations, contract provisions, and the Authority’s policies and procedures. In addition, the incumbent will assist the design oversight of utility and local facility relocations impacted by the California High-Speed Rail Authority (Authority) project.
