About The Position

DFM Development Services is seeking an internal Assistant Project Manager to assist with various tasks within its unique multi-disciplined consulting operation. This role supports real estate developer clients throughout the Metro DC Region. DFM is a local firm dedicated to providing 'red tape consulting services' to the Real Estate Development and AEC industry, fostering a vibrant culture that thrives on energy, creativity, and growth. The position is full-time and exempt, with remote flexibility from Reston, Virginia.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years in a client-facing or customer service role.
  • Strong verbal, reading, and writing communication skills.
  • Excellent business writing and administrative abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Execute upon tasks set by Supervisor with respect to both currently and potentially awarded projects.
  • Tasks will include submitting utility record requests, damage protection utility locate requests, conducting supervised site visits and assessments, submitting service request packages to the utility providers, compile meeting minutes and continuously learn about the utility companies, their processes and the processes related to our client’s development types.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with the utility providers and their various contractors.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with other DFM/Muller team members.
