About The Position

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager with expertise in Document Controls to support project delivery, coordination, and comprehensive document management for a large, active construction program. This hybrid role combines core project management responsibilities with hands-on document control duties, requiring close collaboration with the Owner and construction teams and a strong on-site presence. The successful candidate will oversee all project documentation, ensuring its accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with industry standards, which is essential for the successful execution of our projects.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture, with a minimum of 5 years of experience, or a related bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 9 years of experience in Project/Construction Management.
  • Basic understanding of project management principles, including scope, time, cost, and risk management.
  • Ability to attend an in-person interview in Orlando
  • Availability to work onsite full-time.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Strong knowledge of document control and other project management information software.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Management team with day-to-day project coordination and administrative functions
  • Manage and maintain project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, correspondence, and logs
  • Ensure document control processes comply with established project procedures and Owner requirements
  • Coordinate document workflows across consultants, contractors, and stakeholders using the project management information system
  • Assist with meeting preparation, action item tracking, and follow-up
  • Support schedule, cost, and change management activities as needed
  • Maintain clear, organized, and audit-ready project records
