Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited)
2+ years of land development experience
Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Clear communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Applicants must be authorized to work full-time in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

North Carolina EI (Engineer-in-Training) registration
Experience with Ajera or similar project management software
Familiarity with permitting processes and agency coordination

Responsibilities

Support Project Success: Partner with Project Managers to deliver accurate, high-quality land development projects.
Help keep projects on track by supporting schedules, budgets, and overall performance.
Design & Technical Work: Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to design: Grading and erosion control plans, Water, sewer, and stormwater systems.
Apply survey data and develop a strong understanding of how it impacts design.
Coordinate & Communicate: Work with clients and regulatory agencies to move projects through approvals.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
Documentation & Problem Solving: Prepare plans, reports, specifications, and construction documents.
Assist with permitting and agency coordination.
Identify challenges, gather information, and help develop practical solutions.
