About The Position

The Assistant Program Manager - West Side position is with a human services agency focused on growth potential and working with children in need. The pay range is $23.47-$27.76 per hour, located in Rutland, MA. The schedule is Sunday 7am-11pm, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 1pm - 11pm. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is offered, with an additional $250 bonus if MAP certified. Devereux Massachusetts and Rhode Island helps children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders. The Westside Residential Program specifically serves females aged 12-21 with diagnoses including Mood and Anxiety Disorders, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Disruptive Behavior Disorder, Reactive Attachment Disorder, and features of Borderline Personality Disorder. Clients may have a range of cognitive functioning. The program's goal is to teach essential life skills such as emotional regulation, problem-solving, and interpersonal effectiveness, with long-term goals including transition to less restrictive settings, family reunification, or independent living. The program operates with a DBT clinical model, emphasizing individual therapy and DBT skills groups focused on interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and mindfulness. Clients are encouraged to actively participate in their treatment.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older.
Valid driver's license required.
High School Diploma with two years of congregate care experience or Bachelor’s degree with one year of congregate care experience required.
Must be able to attend a 2-week paid orientation, Monday to Friday, 8AM to 4PM, in Rutland, MA.

Nice To Haves

Degrees in the subject area of psychology, social work, sociology, or related field preferred.
Previous supervisory experience preferred.
