Assistant Program Manager - Female DBT Programs
About The Position
Devereux Massachusetts and Rhode Island is seeking an Assistant Program Manager for its Female DBT Programs. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about working with children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders. The programs utilize a Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) clinical model, focusing on improving interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and mindfulness. The Assistant Program Manager will work in a human services agency with significant growth potential, making a difference in the lives of youth aged 12-21. The positions are located in Rutland, MA, with available schedules of Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat. The pay range is $22.79-$26.98 per hour, with a $2,000 sign-on bonus and an additional $250 bonus for MAP Certified individuals.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Valid driver's license required.
- High School Diploma with two years of congregate care experience or Bachelor’s degree with one year of congregate care experience required.
- Must be able to attend a 2-week paid orientation, Monday to Friday, 8AM to 4PM, in Rutland, MA.
- Must be MAPS certified, or able to obtain certification within 6 months of employment.
Nice To Haves
- Degrees in the subject area of psychology, social work, sociology, or related field preferred.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Be passionate about working with and helping youth.
- Provide and ensure therapeutic interventions in a compassionate and safe environment.
- Collaborate with the Program Manager/Director to create program vision and a positive working environment.
- Assist with the planning and implementation of programing for individuals.
- Assist with staffing and other aspects of program management as needed.
- Possess a high level of organizational and communication skills.
