In this role, you'll lead the development of FEMA-compliant hazard mitigation plans, provide planning and technical assistance to communities with limited planning capacity, and facilitate meetings that help local stakeholders achieve meaningful outcomes. You'll serve as a trusted liaison to community partners across Texas, conducting site visits and building relationships that support long-term resilience planning. The position also offers opportunities to guide project implementation, supervise interns and student teams, develop educational and training materials, and contribute to impactful planning initiatives that help protect lives, property, and the future of Texas communities.
