About The Position

The Biology Department is seeking an Assistant Professor in Biology who is committed to excellence in teaching and collaborative student-centered research. Primary areas of teaching responsibility include undergraduate and graduate physiology courses, majors and nonmajors introductory biology courses, and other courses as needed. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching and research expertise in ichthyology, aquatic physiology, aquatic ecology, or fisheries biology.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Biology or related field required; ABD considered (Ph.D. must be completed by June 2027)
  • Demonstrable oral and written communication skills required
