About The Position
The Department of Nursing invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor rank beginning Fall 2026. Full-time, 9-month (AY Fall and Spring), tenure track position in the BA/BS to BSN program (S. Charleston Campus). Candidates interviewing on campus must have unofficial transcript (undergraduate and graduate) forwarded to the Director of the School of Nursing by their degree-granting institutions prior to the interview on campus. Teaching responsibilities may include classroom and clinical instruction in the Pre-Licensure BSN Program in med-surg/fundamental nursing. Other responsibilities include academic advising of students; participation in ongoing curriculum development and evaluation; committee assignments, and active engagement in scholarly activities. Teaching, research, and service responsibility are negotiable and dependent on the candidate’s area of expertise and the needs of the program.
