About The Position

The Department of Accounting in the College of Business at the University of Texas at Arlington, invites applications for an Assistant Professor, Tenure-Track. In accordance with USCIS regulations, successful applicants must be legally able to accept work in the United States. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time. The position responsibilities will include: a) Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses and participating in curriculum and course development; b) Research culminating with publications in nationally recognized “A” journals; c) Customary service commitments to the department, college, university, community and/or profession; and d) Maintaining appropriate AACSB faculty qualification criteria as defined by the Department. Professional certification and work experience in the teaching area are highly desirable and will be a definite advantage. The current search will focus on candidates with teaching interests in financial accounting, managerial accounting, accounting information systems, accounting data analytics and taxation.
