About The Position

The Department of Political Science and International Relations at Loyola Marymount University (LMU), a Carnegie-classified R2 institution in the mainstream of American Catholic higher education, seeks outstanding applicants for the position of Assistant Professor (Tenure-Track) who value its Mission and share its commitment to inclusive excellence and the building of a just society. This is a tenure-track faculty appointment. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Political Science by the position start date of August 15, 2027. This full-time, 9-month academic appointment (August – May) has an annual salary paid over 12 consecutive months, allowing for continuous benefits coverage.
