The School of Graduate Psychology (SGP) in the College of Health Professions at Pacific University Oregon is seeking an Assistant Professor for its APA-accredited PsyD Program, beginning Fall 2026. This position is an 11-month, extended-term or tenure-track position. The APA-accredited Clinical Psychology PsyD program aims to prepare competent, ethical, and socially responsive practitioner-scholars who are committed to lifelong learning and the collaborative practice of psychology. In addition to the generalist training, the PsyD Program creates opportunities for students to focus training in clinical health psychology, clinical child, neuropsychology, and general clinical psychology with a focus on adults. Successful candidates will have a PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology (preferred) or Counseling Psychology, and be licensed or license-eligible in Oregon. Area of interest/expertise is open. However, we are particularly interested in candidates with interests and/or experience in clinical health psychology, integrated care, or other aspects of health service psychology to build upon and support our Clinical Health Psychology emphasis. SGP has well-developed training partnerships with the local healthcare systems and students who provide much needed care to diverse and at-risk populations throughout the metro and extended catchment area.
