Assistant Professor Term - Gastroenterology/Hepatology
About The Position
The Division of Gastroenterology at the University of Louisville School of Medicine is seeking a General Gastroenterologist to join a division engaged in diverse clinical and academic practice, research, including multiple NIH grants, and two NIH Center grants. Clinically, the ideal candidate will see inpatients and outpatients with a variety of general gastrointestinal illnesses and have experience in colonoscopy and upper endoscopy, as well as managing functional GI disorders. The position also offers opportunities to participate in clinical trials, outcomes research, and NIH-funded research. The successful candidate will work with leadership to assist with inpatient and outpatient training of fellows, as well as participate in educational lectures and seminars for fellows, residents, and medical students.
Requirements
- Completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship in gastroenterology.
