Assistant Professor - Teacher Education Generalist Assessment
About The Position
Austin Peay State University is seeking a candidate for tenure-track position for an education generalist. The teaching assignment will include general method and assessment courses at the undergraduate and graduate level and supervision of clinical teachers. Faculty members will also advise pre-service teacher candidates who are seeking a professional teaching license, and conduct research. There is a possibility of teaching on-line and off campus courses. Position to begin August, 2018. The College of Education at Austin Peay State University provides teacher training in an environment that provides opportunities for students and faculty to work and learn together. Small classes provide opportunities for students and faculty to establish relationships that will last throughout a student’s academic career. Teaching and advising are valued skills and weighed equally with research in the evaluation process.
