About The Position

This position involves providing supervision and evaluation of students during assigned rotations, participating in class and laboratory instruction (including development, evaluation, and revision), and engaging in recruitment activities, student selection, and advising. The role also includes participating in the development of research activities, data collection, and the preparation of reports for the University and Accrediting Agencies. Additionally, faculty development activities and University participation are expected.

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Masters degree in Respiratory Therapy

Nice To Haves

• PhD, EdD, DHSc in a respiratory care, health care related, or education field.
• 2-5 years clinical experience
• 2-5 years teaching experience

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and evaluation of students during assigned rotations.
• Participate in class and laboratory instruction including development, evaluation and revision.
• Participate in recruitment activities and selection and advising of students.
• Participate in the development of research activities.
• Participate in data collection and preparation of reports required by the University and the Accrediting Agencies.
• Participate in ongoing faculty development activities and University.
