About The Position

This is a non-tenure track position (100% research). Assistant Professor of Research position will support and engage in ongoing research activities at the Louisiana State University AgCenter, focusing on biomass, nanomaterials, composites, and bio-based coating technology. Note the successful candidate will be housed in the School of Renewable Natural Resources (this position is not eligible for remote work) at Louisiana State University.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Material Science, Polymer Chemistry, or closely related discipline.
• Experience of working with cellulose nanomaterial, rheology, and coatings
• Evidence of quantitative skills and experience in technical writing
• Proven ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team
