Assistant Professor – Pediatric Infectious Diseases
About The Position
The Division of Infectious Diseases at OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital provides clinical care to pediatric patients within the hospital and its outpatient clinics. The division is a motivated and vibrant team of faculty focused on scholarship, research, and advocacy, as well as providing excellent teaching and clinical care. This position will involve providing patient care as a consultant to other inpatient services and in an outpatient clinic, along with sharing night and weekend on-call duties. The division also engages in educational activities for medical students, residents, and clinical care teams, and may participate in translational research and clinical trials.
Requirements
- MD/DO
- Eligible for licensing in Oregon
- DEA Certificate
- Board certified/board eligible in Pediatric Infectious Disease
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care as a consultant to other inpatient services.
- Provide patient care in an outpatient clinic.
- Assume an appropriate share of night and weekend on-call service.
- Participate in educational endeavors for medical students, residents, and clinical care teams.
- May participate in translational research and clinical trials.
