About The Position
The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Teaching in the College of Sciences. This is a non-tenure-track academic faculty position focused on teaching and assessing online biology lecture and laboratory courses for non-biology majors. The successful candidate will collaborate with biology instructors in the College and the School of Life Sciences, demonstrating a commitment to evidence-based instructional methods for a diverse student population. Continued scholarship and professional development are expected.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in a biological science related degree from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
- Credentials must be obtained prior to the start date.
- Commitment to evidence-based instructional methods for a diverse student population.
